Funyak Rentals on the Rio Grande

Shuttles originate at New Wave headquarters, at Mile 21 on Hwy 68 (see map)

Funyak rentals, for 2 or 4 hours, or all day. Shuttle is provided for the 2 and 4 hr rentals. The 2hr rental trip goes from the County Line to New Wave headquarters, on the Bosque stretch - $30 for a single and $50 for a double.The 4 hr rental trip goes from Taos Junction Bridge to Quartzite site, on the Orilla Verde stretch, or the County Line to the Gaging Station, on the Bosque stretch - $60 for a single and $90 for a double. Extra hours @ $10. The all day rental (for instance, on the Rio Chama) - $80 for a single and $115 for a double. Rentals are NOT available on the Racecourse, or other Rio Grande runs. Rental funyak/shuttles originate at New Wave headquarters, at Mile 21 on Hwy 68 (see map under "How to Find Us"). Credit card sales only. Funyak rental is not available for online bookings, please call.

Note: Funyakking is not for everyone, and requires some athletic ability. If you are very overweight (over 250 lbs.) or in poor physical condition you may find it impossible to sit comfortably in a funyak.
